Dexter isn’t fixed, but he’s definitely improving! Dexter isn’t fixed, but he’s definitely improving!! And his furmily is able to relax a bit more too now that they’ve been able to better manage him while feeling a bit more confident in their ability to help him move forward. ❤️🐾🐾❤️
Remember Millie? Millie is now around 2 years old. Remember Millie? Millie is now around 2 years old. She’s a Border Collie mix. I worked with Millie and her furmily alittle over a year ago. At that time Millie was having a hard time with some anxiety; especially triggered by the heater in their apartment living room closet causing her to not want to leave their bedroom. Training really helped her overcome her fear and she bloomed.

Jump forward to present day and Millie and her furmily have a home of their own with a yard!! They felt it’s now a good time to work on better recall and some better leash skills now that they’ve settled into their own place.

Millie looks great!! Love catching up with my students and helping them to advance. ❤️🐾🐾❤️
This is an example of boundary training. The porch This is an example of boundary training. The porch gate was open while Judge was outfront with me & I was plugging back in lights & tending to the landscaping after Mike manscaped the front lawn. Judge waits on the porch until he was cued to go outback.

We don't whisper, we reward!

Dogs don’t care about money. They care about praise, food and fun. Positive Reinforcement or Force Free training works by using praise, positive actions and rewards, rather than punishment or correction, to teach your dog what you expect from them. The key with this type of training is to determine what motivates your dog, and then to use that motivator as a reward to reinforce the correct behavior. In positive reinforcement dog training you can use treats, toys, physical affection, verbal praise, a clicker or a combination of any of these items, to reward your dog for correct behavior.
